What drew you to the idea of practicing law?
I knew I wanted to be a lawyer after my grandparents passed away and I saw what an important role their attorney played in the smooth transition of their estate. I realized that this work, both the creation of their estate plan and then carrying out that plan after their deaths, was what I wanted to do for my career.
What do you like about your work?
I enjoy getting to know clients and helping them put together an estate plan that brings them peace of mind that their families will be taken care of in the future.
What is something you'd be happy doing every single day for the rest of your career?
My favorite part about my job is meeting with clients and drafting estate planning documents. I would draft wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives for clients every day for the rest of my career and be happy doing it.
