Biography

Ms. Reid has been practicing law for more than ten years and her clients include business owners (including artists, authors, bankers, computer consultants, commercial real estate investors, caterers, mobile home park owners, composite materials manufacturers, propane distributors, maritime and marine-related business owners, and owners of construction companies and other contracting companies), business executives, physicians, dentists, attorneys and other professional persons, professional athletes, software and telecommunication engineers, and for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations.

She is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Seattle, Washington Women in Tax, the National Committee on Planned Giving, the Washington Planned Giving Council, the Taxation Section of the American Bar Association, the King County Bar Association, and the Taxation Section and Real Property, Probate and Trust Sections of Washington State Bar Association. Ms. Reid is also on the Board of Directors of Pilchuck Glass School, the Advisory Board of Directors of the Pacific Northwest Ballet, and is a member of the Whitman College Planned Giving Advisory Committee. In addition, Ms. Reid actively supports several other local and regional charitable and educational organizations, such as Overlake Service League, Lopez Community Land Trust, Rise N'Shine, United Way, Ronald McDonald House Charities, YWCA, Washington Women in Need, and Whitman College. Ms. Reid is a former Director of Washington Women Lawyers and was a founding Director of the Washington Women Lawyers Foundation. Ms. Reid is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington.
